Wind power development is a hot-button environmental issue and the State of PA is considered an "internationally recognized crossroads of migration for many bird groups". Kim Van Fleet, IBA Coordinator, Pennsylvania Audubon, will present the facts surrounding this controversial topic and discuss her research and Audubon's recommendations on the various challenges concerning wind power.

The Impacts of Climate Change on Migratory Birds
Wednesday, February 24th 7:00 pm

Ed Perry, Outreach Coordinator for the National Wildlife Federation, will present some basic information about the science behind global warming, and Mark Henry, expert birder, will discuss how birds will be impacted.
This free seminar will be held at Lower Saucon Township Building, 3700 Old Philadelphia Pike, Bethlehem, PA 18015.
