Lonicera sempervirens CORAL HONEYSUCKLE So much prettier than the japanese honeysuckle that seems to take over everywhere. Attracts hummingbirds.
If suburbia were landscaped with meadows, prairies, thickets or forests, or combinations of these, then the water would sparkle, the fish would be good to eat again, birds would sing, and human spirits would rise.

Thank you to the many great folks who've stopped in to say hello already this year. It's fun catching up with you after the long winter.
Spring is under way and the plants are popping up out of the pots like crazy!
This year we have more plants than ever; The trillium, bluebells, bloodroot have all bloomed and the pink shell azaleas are in their peak. But it doesn't matter when you stop in, something is always blooming here.
We are fortunate to have been able to get in some nice American Beech. This slow growing, hard to find tree is worth the effort. The handscome shade tree provides food for wildlife and is also the larval food for early hairstreak butterfly.
Whether you have a serious shopping list, want to come see what these native plants are all about, or just want to stop in and say a quick hello, you're welcome to come visit. Hope to see you soon!
